Our Environmental Commitment

Carbon Neutral At Expos2 we have engineered a Virtual Solution that will revolutionize the way Exhibitions and Events are held around the world and in doing so, dramatically reduce the environmental costs caused by carbon emissions arising from traditional physical events.

It is something we are proud of and it was only natural that we would seek to ensure that our own company was taking appropriate action against climate change, to ensure that Expos2 itself and our products and services were certified as being carbon neutral.

To this end we obtained an expedited certification from the Carbon Reduction Institute as a NoCO2 accredited business. Achieving NoCO2 certification means that our organization is carbon neutral.

Under our agreement, the Carbon Reduction Institute have estimated the footprint that Expos2 Australia will incur from items such as purchase of assets, staff ground travel and the use of third party services. The emissions are estimated by applying benchmarks calculated from the results of audits completed for similar sized clients.

Carbon Neutral Not only is our organization NoCO2 certified, but so are our range of products. This means that our products have had their life cycle emissions offset through the purchase of carbon credits.

In purchasing any product from Expos2 you will know that it will carry the Carbon Reduction Institutes accreditation as being a Carbon Neutral Product which is something you can also highlight.

NoCO2 accreditation is our organization's commitment to you, but by participating in an Expos2 Virtual Event as either an organizer or a visitor, you too can play your part in reducing greenhouse emissions.

A traditional event creates a whole host of actions that create greenhouse emissions and impact our environment.

These include, but are not limited to:

i) Transport

  • Airfares
  • Accommodation
  • Cars, / Car Hire, Fuel
  • Taxi

ii) Catering

iii) Electricity

iv) Waste

v) Printing and Stationery

A single return economy airfare from Sydney to Melbourne alone will consume .54 tonnes of CO2 emissions, so just imagine how may tonnes of CO2 emissions are eliminated if a major traditional physical expo was replaced by a Expos2 Virtual Expo? Changing an existing event or exhibition from a traditional physical forum to a Expos2 Virtual Event is a practical and logical step for any organizer serious about impacting climate change and reducing greenhouse emissions and decreasing costs for both exhibitors and visitors alike. Visitors participting in an Expos2 Virtual Event not only save money and time in attending, but also know they are playing their part in helping the environment. It really is a "win/win" outcome for all involved!
