Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
   Expos2 Australia Pty Ltd (Expos2) respects and has a firm commitment to the rights afforded to you under the National Privacy Principles contained within the Privacy Act of 1988 (Cth). We are willing participants to the changes that apply to the National Privacy Principles from the 21st of December, 2001. This Privacy Policy covers how we administer all personal information that we hold about you.
2. Information Collected
   When you register for an event you will be asked a series of questions. This may include information such as your name, street address, email address(s), telephone number(s), occupation and any other relevant information. When we collect this information we will ensure this is done in a lawful manner and stored securely. We can also collect data if you visit our website including the type of browser and operating system, your servers IP address, the previous site you visited and the pages you access and information downloaded. By enabling us to collect the information you consent to us using the information for a variety of purposes including communication, marketing, supply and/or delivery of goods and services.
3. Disclosure of Information
   Importantly we only disclose the personal information we have collected from you consistent with the provisions of the Act. The provisions are as follows:
   
   • we inform you when obtaining the information that it would be disclosed for that purpose, or for a related purpose that you would reasonably expect;
   • we have your consent;
   • if we are selling business assets and this forms a part of;
   • by law we are required to disclose, or
   • it is otherwise permitted under the Act.
   The information once obtained can be used for a variety of reasons, such as special events, promotions, constructing future events, attraction of potential sponsors and exhibititors, structuring of event to attract visitors, and for a variety of administrative and planning requirements.
4. Quality of Information
   We will take reasonable steps to make sure that the personal information we collect, use and disclose is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
5. Data Security
   Given the nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee that data transmitted is totally secure. Whilst we do everything we can to protect your information, we do not warrant and cannot guarantee the security of information that you may transmit to us. As a result of this when you transmit to our website and use our software you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission we will take all reasonable steps to ensure its security.
6. Opt Out
   Being able to opt out of communications from us is an essential component of the Act. Accordingly if at any time you wish to cease receiving any further marketing offers from us, then you need only to contact us. Expos2 does provide information to 3rd parties for promotional opportunities, unless of course you have elected otherwise. Under the Act if you receive any direct marketing offers you will have the ability to opt out from further communications of this nature.

This privacy policy applies solely to information collected by Expos2. In addition, we should not be construed as endorsing, approving, recommending or giving preference to these third parties or their websites, or any information, products or services referred to on those third party websites unless expressly stated. You link to these websites at your own risk and we are not responsible for information on, or the privacy practices of such web sites.
8. Service Policy
   We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason not prohibited by law. Also we reserve the right to terminate service to any customer for any reason not prohibited by law, including non-payment.
9. Other
   The policy referred to above is current as at the 1st of July, 2009 and may change from time to time. The policy whilst not legally binding in any way on Expos2 is designed to be adhered to in all circumstances, unless the commercial need arises to operate outside the policy. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will make changes direct to this page so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances.
10. Access to Information we hold
    You can access the personal information we hold about you at any time provided it is in writing and you provide proof of identity. Your request will be actioned in a reasonable time and you may be requested to pay reasonable costs incurred in providing the information.
